About Steve:
“I have retired from a wonderful career as a child and family therapist, after establishing, in 1990, a collaborative practice with other mental health providers. Now living on the banks of the Saco River, I swim daily for five months of the year. I spend time with my two grandchildren. I get to pass on family traditions of pie baking, camping, and joke telling. For the past few years, I have traveled to and helped support a small orphanage in Uganda.
I am saddened by the isolation and divisions in our culture, especially across age and socio-economic lines. So, I am encouraged by this commitment to build real communities that 'Kin Commons' represents. Many voices will be around the table as we work together on this vision taking root. I trust my years of deep listening and reflection will prove to be an asset.”
