Meet Catherine:

“I am currently Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at Spurwink Services, a leading behavioral health organization in Maine. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), I hold a Masters in Counselor Education from the University of Southern Maine and advanced training in Primary Care Behavioral Health. I am also a graduate of the Hanley Health Leadership Development program.

With a career focused on clinical excellence, I have led the development of innovative, trauma-informed, recovery-based care models that improve access, outcomes, and sustainability. I am committed to reducing stigma and promoting wellness for individuals and families affected by behavioral health with a mission to integrate whole health and self-management into systems of care. I have a particular and deep passion for veterans and older adults, firmly believe in the multitude of benefits from intergenerational communities, and I hope to bring that to bear with my contributions to Kin Commons.”
